This project, led by Chandradip Development Society (CDS) in collaboration with Samajik Unnayan Sangstha (SUS) and media partner www.report71.com, aims to enhance information access and foster social inclusion among fisher folk women, particularly the marginalized Mantha community and mainstreaming fisher folk in the Barishal District. The initiative leverages the unique strengths of civil society organizations (CSOs) and media to empower these women through advocacy, digital inclusion, and participatory governance. Over a Nine -month (09) period, the project will focus on developing their leadership capacity, raising public awareness through impactful media campaigns, and building sustainable advocacy networks to amplify their voices in local decision-making processes.
